Step One: Submit your online NEH Application Cover Sheet.  Link - https://securegrants.neh.gov/education/participants/

Be sure to click “submit” and print a copy for the application package.

Step Two: A complete Application Package sent to the Charles Tocci by either email for physical mail.

The application package includes:
1. Your NEH Application Cover Sheet that was submitted online
2. Your curriculum vitae/resume or a brief biography
3. Your essay (no more than 4 double-spaced pages) addressing your interest in the workshop (keeping in mind the selection criteria).
4. Two letters of recommendation. All references are kept confidential among the selection committee. These can be sent by physical mail or email:
  • If hard copy references, they should be in a sealed envelope with the signature of the referee across the seal. 
  • If by email, the referee may send to the project director directly at ctocci@luc.edu (Subject line: NEH Institute reference for [your name]). 
  • If you have any problems securing the letters of recommendation in the timeframe required, please reach out to ctocci@luc.edu.
 
The complete Application Package is due by March 1, 2019 by email (ctocci@luc.edu) or physical mail to:
