University Credit

NEH Summer Scholars will have the option to enroll in a special topics course at Loyola University Chicago. Successful completion of all institute requirements and attendance at scheduled sessions will result in three (3) credit hours from LUC's accredited School of Education. In order to enroll, participants will pay tuition and fees to LUC. The institute's Director of Teacher Support, Charles Tocci, will be the instructor for the course. Participants will be given more information about the credit option when they are accepted into the program.

A Certificate of Completion will be provided to teachers who wish to pursue continuing education credits in their home districts.
